Look how cute I was as a young 'un

Welcome to My World
Hi,
My name is Koda, and I'm a Tricolour Border Collie, not just any border collie though as my story will testify!
I was born on a working farm in Cumbria on 15 September 2017 but apparently it soon became obvious that I wasn't cut out to herd the weird wooly things, so the farmer sold me to a lovely family aged about 6 months, where I spent a few years being part of a loving family just outside Rothbury.
Unfortunately the family circumstances changed drastically, and they were unable to continue providing me with the attention I was used to, craved (and deserved) so they handed me over to a vet and the vet managed to find me a temporary home at Northumberland Dog Rescue.
Whilst I was there my now Dad came along to the centre with the intention of adopting one of my friends, Davey, but I introduced myself to him and he was smitten, I mean how could he resist my devishly good looks and charm!
After a few visits and our 1st solo date together on his birthday (immaculate planning there on my part) he signed some papers and took me away to start living our lives together, and he's never looked back since!
I'm a very easy going Collie (when at home) and have learnt his work from home routine, he has a corner desk with 2 computers (at least that's what he calls them) and I soon learnt that when he was facing 1 of them I had to occupy myself (sleep), but as soon as he turned his chair round 90 degrees and faced the other one he was fair game to be interrupted for cuddles and fuss!
We go on fairly frequent trips to other "homes" for what he calls holidays, sometimes he says we cross a border to a place called Scotland, other times to areas called The Lakes and Cumbria, all funny sounding names, but they all have several things in common that I love, beaches, countryside, and time totally focused on me!
I want to be best friends with everyone with 2 legs, and very often show my love for them by instantly rolling on my back for belly rubs, or by nuzzling and licking their hands (not faces though, I don't lick faces, that's just gross, you never know where the faces have been!) My Dad calls me a tart because of my friendliness, it normally gets a good reaction from other 2 legged friends, so it's a good thing right?
My Dad was told by my previous family that my nervousness (I get very scared by unexpected bangs and just want to run away when I hear them), and my occasional reaction to large dogs is as a result of an aggressive large German Shepherd who lived in the area always charging at me when I was 3, I do like smaller dogs and well behaved dogs that don't need herding however!
